Q: How quickly will I receive a product after I order it?

Q: If I purchase an Invacare product from Franklin Medical Supply, Inc., and I don't live near any of your facilities (or if I move to another part of the country),

A: Any and all necessary repairs can be arranged through any Authorized Invacare     Dealer. Where you make your purchase makes absolutely no difference. Simply put, Invacare firmly backs its products… period.

Q: What kind of warrantees are given?

A: Invacare warranty information is available in their individual product descriptions to which you are directed through the links Franklin Medical provides. For microphone      mounts, warranty runs 5-yr., 100% for defects and/or failure that is due to any reason      other than unreasonable abuse.

Q: Do you guarantee lowest price?

A: Yes…  we encourage you to shop and make price comparisons… find a lower price      and we'll beat it by 5%

Q: Will you bill Medicare, Medicaid, or my insurance company?

A: No.  The cost of dealing with such programs and costs a formidable amount both in terms of time and money. Our market is to those of you who purchase using check, money order, Visa or MasterCard.

Q: Can you provide setup of beds in my home?

A: Setup services are not available through us.  We do provide one of the finest lines of adjustable beds (and a wide range of Invacare medical products) at the guaranteed lowest prices.  You,    the customer, save considerably as a result of Franklin Medical's "Direct from the Factory" pricing.

Q: I haven't seen any TV, magazine, or newspaper advertisements about Invacare or Franklin Medical.  Why?

A: Again, so we can sell these products at the lowest possible price.  You have reached us through referral or through an Internet search.  We spend "hundreds of dollars" on advertising and other selling expenses.  Many of our competitors pay "hundreds of thousands of dollars." These companies just cannot make any profit at all without passing these costs to you.  We save… … you save…

Q: OK, I've done some price/quality comparisons, and Franklin Medical's prices are certainly lower than anyone else, but how can you offer such discounts?  What's the catch?

A: There is no "catch"… our prices are the lowest for two reasons:

  1. We SELL for less because of COSTS are less (many examples are given in other answers in this FAQ's page)
     
  2.  I (Ken LeBrun, President of Franklin Medical) have been a quadriplegic since February 1st of 1986. (click on  Our Company for additional background). Franklin Medical was originally established and incorporated by me in 1990 so that I, personally, could purchase much of the exorbitantly high-priced medical products I needed (and for which I have had to pay out of my own pocket) at rational prices. Additionally, I have a genuine empathy for other disabled people and I like the idea of  making many needed products available at truly affordable prices.

Q: I've tried telephoning Franklin Medical, but either cannot get through, or I am directed to   an answering machine. This makes me a little uneasy.  What gives?

A: You probably realize by now that I, Ken LeBrun, am a quadriplegic. I am a tireless and dedicated worker, and I am committed to providing to the absolute lowest prices and best quality products.    Because I cannot use my hands, and because I employ only part-time help, it is much more practical and expeditious for me to respond back to you. This way, I will have been able to get the appropriate information together and respond to you in a thorough and professional manner. Your patience and understanding of circumstances will be rewarded through the savings you'll enjoy by purchasing from us.
